Meilisearch Database Viewer and Filter Tool

This project was developed as part of my preparation for Worldskills Lyon 2024, where I aimed to both enhance my expertise in Vue.js and gain hands-on experience working with the Meilisearch API to build custom clients. Worldskills requires a deep understanding of modern web technologies, and this project provided an excellent opportunity to practice and refine my skills.

The primary motivation behind creating this tool was to solve the usability issues present in Meilisearch's built-in database management tool. While Meilisearch is a powerful search engine, the default tool lacked advanced features, was cumbersome to navigate, and did not provide a smooth experience for filtering and interacting with large datasets. These limitations made it difficult to effectively manage and query data, which prompted me to develop a more user-friendly and efficient solution.

The custom tool I built using Vue.js allows users to easily view, search, and filter through Meilisearch databases. It offers a clean, responsive interface that significantly improves upon the functionality provided by the default Meilisearch UI. Additionally, it incorporates features like dynamic filtering, real-time updates, and customizable search parameters, making the process of managing and querying data much more streamlined and efficient.

By building this tool, I not only addressed the shortcomings of Meilisearch's default tool but also gained valuable experience that will contribute to my performance in the Worldskills Lyon 2024 competition. This project demonstrates my ability to identify problems, apply modern web development technologies, and create custom solutions that enhance both functionality and user experience.
